Esta ilustración tiene como temática la palabra “postre”. La hice para participar en una exposición colectiva que tenía la premisa: “Dibuja lo que sea que se te venga a la mente cuando oyes la palabra ‘postre’” :3
This illustration is themed around the word “dessert”. I did it to participate in a collective exhibition that had the premise: "Draw whatever comes to mind when you hear the word 'dessert'"
Cuando escucho “postre” pienso en mis postres favoritos y en la placentera experiencia de explosión de sabor, pero también en la sensación de culpa y el miedo a engordar que conlleva comerlo. Quise plasmar la dualidad del postre en esta ilustración-cómic.
When I hear “dessert” I think of my favorite desserts and the pleasant experience of flavor explosion, but also the feeling of guilt and the fear of gaining weight that comes with eating it. I wanted to capture the duality of dessert in this illustration-comic.
El postre que elegí fue el Cheesecake, uno de mis favoritos. Lo que más me gusta es la combinación de “pisos” y texturas, así que representé los ingredientes generales por aparte: zarzamoras, galletas y queso.
The dessert I chose was Cheesecake, one of my favorites. What I like the most is the combination of “floors” and textures, so I represented the general ingredients separately: blackberries, cookies and cheese.
